As a blogger attending school full time I find it hard to fit blogging in. I am trying to make more of an effort to plan out my posts ahead of time, organise interviews and such with authors weeks in advance and just be able to click a button on the day the post needed to be published.
There is one issue though. There are two many things I want to post. I'm aiming to write 2 reviews a week (I know, I've been really slacking recently) I want to take part in memes and do author interviews. I also feel that sometimes I would like to have two posts on days where things are a little...light. Does having a meme and a discussion post for example make doing memes for acceptable?
What I want to know is whether or not you read multiple posts on one day. Do you scroll down to see if there are any posts you haven't looked at? Or do you just read and click on the most recent posts?
Will you read multiple posts? Yes or No? I would love to hear your thoughts. Comment below to give me your opinion!
I read multiple posts, i scroll through to look to see if i have missed anything. If he blogger has something to say or post about, i don't think it matters if it's one or five posts. I'll read them all. :D
ReplyDeleteI read via a reader so each post shows up in my list no matter how many you post a day :)
ReplyDeleteThat is goo to know. Sometimes I just like to post more posts when I have time!
ReplyDeleteI scroll down and/or use a reader, so I'd read all posts too!
ReplyDeleteIt's a really good question, though. I've wondered about this too. I try to post only once a day, but occasionally I post two or three times - and then I wonder if anyone will scroll down!
The slowest bookworm: that is good to know :)
ReplyDeleteLuisa: I always worry about that too. I scroll down too, I just wondered if anyone did aswell :)
I will read multiple posts if I find the blogger has put some effort into them and isn't just doing it to increase their total post count. I also use a reader so no worries about missing posts!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feedback! It is greatly appreciated :)
ReplyDeleteI use google reader. So, you can post nothing for two weeks, or three posts in one day and I'll read it. I might not actually click and open the post on your blog, but I really think most people have to use readers, if they follow many blogs at all, and they will see your posts. I know that doesn't help the "count" but I try to comment as much as I can....
ReplyDeleteI think it's not a problem. As long as it's interesting.
ReplyDeleteEven if it's not, I keep reading it though since I have my google reader. :)
I wish I have more time for it.
I read multiple posts too because I just go through Dashboard.
ReplyDeleteI typically read whatever the reader pops up. If a post seems interesting, I click it!
ReplyDeleteI use a reader, too, so there's no worries about missing any posts.
ReplyDeleteI scan through the reader and open whatever posts I want to read in a new tab. That way the blogger gets a page "hit" to reflect that I am reading their post.
Annette: The count doesn't bother me. I was just curious whether people actually got something out of it.
ReplyDeleteAleetha: Thanks for the feedback. Great to know!
A Canadian Girl: Thanks for the feedback :)
Brooke: Thanks :)
Small Review: I literally must be the only person in the world who doesn't use reader. Probably why I'm so terrible at commenting and visiting everyone's blogs. I will try it out!
You are so sweet and that is a great tip!
I didn't use Reader for a while. I just hadn't ever heard of it. I had a crazy system of bookmarked blogs. When I finally found Google Reader it was amazing. Huge lifesaver!
ReplyDeleteI've got over 100 bookmarked blogs and it really isn't working for me. I will have to try the Google Reader!
ReplyDeleteGoogle Reader is great because you can import all of the blogs you follow. Then what I do is organize them into folders I created based on their topics. That way I know that I can skip over some of the industry blogs (like Publishers Weekly, etc.) and then it doesn't seem so overwhelming!
ReplyDeleteOh really? That is so cool! I didn't know you could organise them. Definitely makes it seem less daunting. Thanks for the help!
ReplyDeleteI read blogs on Google Reader, which tells me how many new posts the blog has for me to read. Because of this, I don't miss anything. It won't matter if you post once or 10 times in one day, I'll see them all :)
ReplyDeleteGreat to know :) I must start using Google Reader by the sound of things!
