Welcome everyone :) Things may be a little slow at the moment as I am in my last few months of school so I am swamped with work and exams but if you had time to leave a comment it would make my day!

Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?

Imagine if she hadn't fogotten the book. Or if there hadn't been traffic on the expressway. Or if she hadn't fumbled the coins for the toll. What if she'd run just that little bit faster and caught the flight she was supposed to be on. Would it have been something else - the weather over the atlantic or a fault with the plane?

Hadley isn't sure if she believes in destiny or fate but, on what is potentially the worst day of each of their lives, it's the quirks of timing and chance events that mean Hadley meets Oliver...

Set over a 24-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight is definitely mt kind of book. The title: LOVE! The blurb: AWESOME! I couldn't wait to get my hands on a copy  of this book. When it arrived I squealed like a child and the book definitely didn't disappoint. It was a sweet love story that addresses deeper issues along the way.

Oliver was so swoon-worthy. He was sweet, charming and just adorable. The chemistry and sexual tension between Oliver and Hadley were beautifully written. I was rooting for them from the very beginning. Both Hadley and Oliver were easy to connect with and I believer a lot of people will be able to relate to what either of them were going through.

The book is set over 24 hours and there was a definite urgency to the plot. the pace was fast and kept me reading on. The time period was a really nice touch.

I adored the ending. It was so fitting and captured the essence of the novel. It had a balance of predictability and surprise which was refreshing.

If you love contemporary romances as much as I do then I am sure you will love this! A lovely, beautifully written book filled with chance, fate and love.

  1. I haven't heard much about this book, but it sounds really good! I like the idea of it taking place within 24 hours. Thanks for the review!

  2. I really enjoyed this too! I think Hadley and Oliver were SO cute, and I loved the whole concept of the book :D The aeroplane ride was the best bit, in my opinion, but it was all super cute :D Great review Alice! :)

  3. I love the title and cover(s) too! I shall be reading it next month and I hope I enjoyed it just as much as you did.

  4. Okay, I have a question about this book. I know it takes place in around one day but my worry is that if it is insta love. Is it? I subscribed to this post so that I can read your reply. Also, I'm a new follower. I like what you did with the cover/header. That's cool!

  5. This book sounds SO cute! I don't read tons of the lighter, really romance-y Contemp, but I've been reading more lately and when I'm in the mood, they are just perfect! This is definitely one I'm itching to read! :D

  6. Thank you all for your comments :)

mfay2 - There is instant attraction as there must be in 24 hours but I wouldn't say insta love. There was more a curiosity and interest in each other.

  7. Thanks for the review. You've definitely confirmed that I will love this book. :)
