Over the years I have read some of Anthony Horrowitz work, the most famous being Stormbreaker. Horrowitz has a wonderful way with words and is able to create and capture intense suspense and action scenes within his novels. Whilst I am not a fan of Sherlock Holmes, knowing that the novel was written by Anthony Horowitz makes me eager to read it.
The reading in the video above really sets the tone for the novel. Horowitz's reading is captivating. The mystery is heightened by the noises in the background and the flickering of the firelight. I am definitely excited to read the book after seeing the video.

A very riveting novel. Purely Sherlock Holmes. Lots of twists and turns. It is told by Dr Watson, which I don't care for too much. It's okay, but I prefer it to be told as a narratvie. You won't be disappointed.
